Intravenous solution factory

The factory is located on the left coast of the city of Mosul (Nineveh governorate) in the industrial area, about 7 km from the city center and 90 km from the Erbil governorate, one of the factories of the General Company for the Pharmaceutical Industry and Medical Supplies in Samarra after the merger and specialized in the production of (2) types of intravenous glaucoma solutions are currently added It has the ability to produce WFI distilled water, and it was previously working on a bag system, and it was the only factory in Iraq that supplied the Ministry of Health, private hospitals and stores with intravenous glaucoma solutions at that time. The factory was exposed to riots during the events of 2003, and the damage rate was 100%. The rest of the factory facility was rehabilitated by the Turkish Exxon Med company, with funding from the investment plan for 2011, as well as adding new buildings and service facilities such as the guest house, the administration building, the nursery, the rabbit field, and new stores for marketing and spare tools. The total building area became (7000) m2, and the factory was exposed to civil damage in 2017, as a result of the military operations to liberate Mosul from the control of ISIS terrorist gangs. All machines and equipment and we are waiting for the Ministry of Health and Environment to visit the factory and assess its compliance with the GMP pharmaceutical industrial specifications.
